Hello,
I am in the process of applying to OINP under International Student with a Job Offer stream in Ontario. I believe if my current status in Canada is a study permit and if I apply to the OINP and have my employer support my application a certificate will be issued and the certificate will have a restriction on it, which means that I am obligated to stay with my employer until I receive my Permanent Residence card from IRCC. This is a long process which takes up to 18 months and a lot of things can happen with my employer. Also, I will not be able to change employer after I received the OINP certificate. To avoid this do you recommend that I obtain a Post Graduate Work Permit prior to applying to OINP? This way I will not have any restriction on my certificate and I can work with any employer until I receive my PR card from IRCC?
