Any update on the case please? Does the Mandamus help you. I am thinking of filing a Mandamus, after 13 weeks of Background verification delay for citizenship.
IMO you will be wasting your time doing mandamus for a background check that has only been running for approx three months. Mandamus is most effective when processing times have been far exceeded.
Your choice of course.
Seeking mandamus relief may make sense once delays are expressed in years not weeks, with an emphasis on the S in "years". You're free to do whatever you want with your money, but any lawyer who's ready to take it anytime soon, after only a few months of waiting, is a crook.
