Hi,

I am doing my MBA from ICFAI (distance education mode)I have B.Com. and documented 13 months of work experience.I know that Canada accepts 16 yrs of undergraduate degree to get into masters program there. My question is-can I get into masters program in Canada with my MBA?
Any direction will help.

Thanks and Regards.

I think u should get ur documents assessed by wes or icas first.if they approve ur degree then apply to 1 university first. give it a try.rest depends upon luck . :)

Thanks for the direction.Do u know anyone
who is pursuing masters in Canada after doing distance education?

No, but i have read posts on this forum someone has got visa after distance study .

WES hasn't listed ICFAI as an approved institute. Getting Indian PG degrees' equivalency certificate to Americas PG degree is doubtful.

So if the degree is not recognized , do I have to start from all the first year of 4 yr college degree or are there any bridge courses available in Canada that will compensate my 1 year (since I have B.Com)to become a graduate there?(to have 16 years)

Logically there would be bridging courses. Experienced members might help you on this, meanwhile get informed about 1 year GradDip courses for informed discussion. Best Wishes.
