Recieved PR - Entry & Travel Obligations or Requirements

Hello all,

I will do my best to keep this brief.

My girlfriend received her PR last week (Thru Common-Law application).
We were planning to travel to Canada this December for a 2 weeks to prepare our move and get things in order, we will return back to Panama (our current residence) and will officially make our move to Canada in April of 2022. .

Are there any restrictions or obligations on traveling in and out of Canada after receiving your PR? Can you travel in and out of Canada? Is there a certain amount of time you need to be in Canada upon your first entry?

I will also add, she still has a valid travel visa, not sure if that has benefit

I appreciate your time and hopefully I can find some clarity on our questions here and we are having a hard time getting an answer from immigration itself.

- There is no minimum time you need to spend in Canada for the first landing.
- Her visitor visa will become invalid once she lands and becomes a PR. So that has no benefits.
- She will need to have either a valid PR card or a valid PR Travel Document in order to be allowed to board a plane to fly to Canada.
