Recent graduate wanting to work in Montrel to be with girlfriend

Right so I've just spent the past year studying at McGill on an exchange programme from my UK university and fell very in love with my girlfriend who studies there full time. This year she will come to my school for second term but then I graduate with a degree in Politics and international relations (Bsc). Now as soon as I graduate I want to move back to Canada and work in Montreal while she finishes her final year of her degree. So what's my best way about being able to get a job there. If I must I will work in Toronto because of my lack of French but I'm taking intensive French courses to swat up on my language skills. How can I get a visa to let me work by her university for at l sat a year. I'm willing to do anything. Does it help that I've already studied there and worked there temporarily???? Experts please help
