I got approval for my 3 year post-graduate work permit on 02 November, 2024 (expiry on Oct 2027). I had applied in September by the way.
After this I submitted an application for Temporary Resident Visa on 11 November, 2024 since I need to travel. This application is currently in progress.
Today, on 15 November I received an email from IRCC to check updates on my application.
On the portal there was an update on an older application submitted on 17 January, 2024. I had submitted it at the beginning of the year for my study permit extension and co-op work permit. The application was approved and I even received my permits at the time.
Now this old application had a new update and showed I have been approved a new student and co -op work permit. I am not a student anymore and I did not apply for either of these. The expiry on these permits is set to Nov,2027.
I am not sure what is going on? Is my PGWP no longer valid? Do I have to apply again?
