Receiving BIL ( Biometric instruction letter ) and i already have a valid Biometric

I Applied for visitor visa on 2/6/22 from Dubai , and i already have valid biometric since i visited Canada few years ago , it was shown under Biometric no need and also shown valid up to 2029 , 2 days ago i received BIL and the Biometric status changed to Completed on 29 July 2022.

Your advise please. Shall i do the biometric again ?

Did you received PPR as well or only BIL? Also applied in June from Dubai. Still waiting.

I applied on 20th jan 2023, mine previous biometrics were valid but I requested to give new biometrics in application form also paid the fees but I haven’t received BIL as of now.

They asked me if my biometrics were valid then i should submit proof and if not, i should go ahead and pay and upload the receipt of Payment. I had previously given the Biometrics.

It seems you are not using new portal. In new portal they do not ask for any proof, they just pull your data through UCI number.

I used the GCkey. What i meant is they did follow up after a couple months since the UCI was a different one on the issue of biometrics.
