receiving a letter before the test , according for missing information ???

i received the guide discover Canada , in December 2011 , and i was waiting the test ,
but in may 2013 i received a letter to ask about my old address number , and i reply this letter ,


Do you know if this is will make a delay to my application , how long ??

Delay...yes
how long...dont know

In my case, they did not update my address so i got RQ after about a year. Applied in Aug 2011...nothing new.

Would you like to provide some more details about this issue.Did you change your address after applying ,informed CIC about it,however they did not update it .....isnt it ? But,I am unable to understand how it led to your RQ ?

Did they send you any important notification/test letter at your previous address,which you missed?
