Received work permit extension

Hi Guys,

I'd applied for bridge extension in May this year shortly before my visa expired - I was signed on for express entry but hadnt yet received ITA at this point so didnt think I'd get it. Is this normal? I'd received AOR in July 30 and my new work permit says 'temporary residence status maintained as per R183(6) APR pending'.

Does this mean I'm likely to get APR?

APR just stands for Application for Permanent Residency - It's basically saying that you've maintained your status since your PR application is being processed. Does not really guarantee anything but basically allows you to stay in the country until a final decision has been made.
