Received update email, but nothing changed. Glitch?

I applied to change my visa status from within the country (TRV to study) a few weeks ago. I recently received another email to my personal email notifying I have an update to my application. So I went to check, but nothing has changed. Does this happen from time to time, was it a glitch email? Or did they neglect to update my application page on the CIC website? Is there any official contact I can get a hold of to find out?

Check again very well and be sure to click on any relevant section there to get the update. Usually when you got such email that there's any update, there is certainly one.

Yes. It happens sometimes. You get an email, but nothing is changed. It's ok.
