Received UIC, application was received - a question.

Hello all.

My sponsorship app has been received, my wife's app has also been received and we have a UIC number now. I can see it all online. However, they asked me a clarification question, and for an additional form in the email, which I promptly replied to and mailed back. At the time I also noticed a discrepancy so I retyped that form and sent it too, along with an explanation. A total of three additional/supplementary "items".

Will I receive another notice from them indicating the entire thing was ok, both original submission plus the three pieces of info/docs? I assume the application in its original state did not constitute a complete application, as additional info was requested, yet I have a UIC number.

At this point I am assuming some kind of final notice will arrive before its all sent to the Philippines but the online status says nothing about the second supplemental submission I made.

If nothing else is missing from your application, the next time you'll hear from them is for Sponsorship Approval. In that email or letter they'll tell you where your wife's application is going (which Visa Office). This is assuming you applied outland. If you applied inland, the next you'll hear form them is for AIP, which will be in about a year at this rate!

Any idea if the turnaround time gets reset to zero and I have to wait another 6-8 weeks, or if its sooner the second time around?

The additional info they requested was really simple so I hope the approval process is mostly complete and they get back to me soon.

I think that if it shows the date it was received on Ecas, then that's the date it was received and that's your spot in the queue. They won't start over because you didn't receive your whole application back and you got a UCI.
