Received request to submit passport for EE but stuck in India

Hi everyone,
I am in a weird situation right now. I submitted my Express entry profile on September 23rd, 2019 and just yesterday got an update saying that I have to submit my passport and a couple of photos to go through for my PR. They provided me with 30 day period window to submit my passport.
Now I am currently in India for a family emergency, my grandma just died and there are some restrictions with her will and property so I can't leave until that gets settled. I did talk to the representative over the phone but she didn't offer much help and was persistent that I had to come back within 30 days and send my passport via courier. Additionally, she did give me an IRCC link to explain my situation which I filled 2 minutes.

Can someone please reply if they know what to do in my case. Thanks a lot.I really would be grateful to them.

You can submit your passport in India. Just send a webform and get the instructions to submit in India. I am in a similar situation and just got instructions to submit in India.

I've submitted my passport, and I'm waiting to get it back.

I submitted on 6th Feb, and it reached Delhi VFS on 10th Feb. current processing time is around 10-15 days, so expecting it back in a couple of more weeks.
