Received Passport submission request but VAC temporarily suspended due to Covid-19

Hi all,

I have applied for Canada Study Permit from India. I received the Passport submission request on 30th april, 2021 but the VAC (VFS Global) is temporarily suspended due to Covid-19. In the request letter received, it is stated that I need to submit the passport within 30 days. Is there any way this time period will get extended if the office does not reopens in 30 days? What should be my next step?
