Received Passport request today, not sure where to send it

we received the passport request today from the Canadian embassy in Tel Aviv.

Just want to be sure on a couple things...

Since an Israeli doesn't need a visa for Canada, we can simply sent in a photocopy of the passport?

About receiving the COPR, it says whether we want to pick it up.....the question is from where? The embassy?

On the last page of the document, there is a section that says "Submitting your documents in Canada", then an address in Ottawa....I would assume this is only if you are sending it from within Canada.

Problem is, there is no other instruction on where to send it if you are sending from Israel. So I am not sure if to send to the Canadian embassy in Tel Aviv or the address in Ottawa.

Sorry for the barrage of questions, really excited to finally be at the end of this!

These questions should be directed to the embassy where u got the request...except u want us to start making guesses.

I was just hoping to get answers from other people that did this, where they sent theirs. I did outland from Israel.

I already contacted my Canadian embassy, but still haven't heard back from them, so I thought I might be able to get some help here, rather than waiting, when time is critical.

I got the passport request from the embassy in Israel, so I am assuming I will send it there, just doesn't actually say where to send it.

Call the embassy before sending. Sometimes CIC uses privately-run Visa centres as a middleman rather than the embassies. Tel Aviv embassy can tell you whether or not they accept passports for processing, and whether the original/copy is required.
