hi

just received medicals request for me. I didnt get any medicals request for my wife. she came to canada last febuary and did her medicals before coming to canada and i subimitted it with my application. But it is expired in december 2014. They requested last 2 years residential address update for my wife. Should i think that they considered previous medicals for my wife that got expired dec 2014.

Can anyone say what to do after medicals is done. should we send any documents to them again.

Please help me

Ideally, they won't consider documents like medicals, PCC etc which are over one year old by the time they review the application. So, better to send an inquiry about your wife's medical request rather waiting for them to say something. That might send a good gesture as well that you are well aware of your case :)

Hi,
I would suggest to make an appointment for both of you for the medicals and if she's not in the system she can do it as upfront medicals. Later on just upload her scanned documentation received from the clinic to CIC.

As per Operational booklet if applicant or dependent still stays in Canada (and last MR was within 2 years) you may not need to go for it .
But medical will be treat as Expired (in gcms it will show as Passed (Expired))

Same happened with me , but i don't wanted to take risk so did again upfront Medical , which reflected in my next GCMS.
If you will ask my opinion i will suggest go for upfront Medical for her also .

Good Luck

My case is very similar, my wife had her medicals done in 2013 Nov when she came to canada. CIC asked my medicals in 2014 sept when her medicals was valid.
Now GCMS notes shows her medicals has expired, two days back CIC has asked my wife for her past 2 years residence history. There is a flow chart

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/medic/assess/cert.asp

by this, I have booked for her upfront medicals.

Yes I will suggest Upfront Medical is good Idea ,
Baseline is why for $ 250 delay your application process
