Hi all,
I recently received an ITA and I have all documents ready to submit my APR. I would like to know which of this might be the better/easier option:
1. To submit my APR right away, and inform CIC once baby is born, with all relevant documents and complete spouse's x-ray (deferred until childbirth)
(or)
2. Wait until baby is born and then submit APR with all documents. I'm a little hesitant of this option, since I will need to apply for baby's passport, birth certificate etc and I'm not sure I can do all of this in a short span of time immediately after childbirth. If medicals are required for the newborn, I will probably have to wait for the baby to be atleast a month old.
I read on CIC that my application will be re-assessed for eligibility based on proof of funds etc, and my current proof will show adequate funds for spouse and child.
I'm leaning towards submitting the application now, since the processing will anyway be on hold till my spouse completes her medicals. Would like to get more thoughts on this.
Thanks!
