wanted to check if anyone has been or is in a similar situation.
have received ITA today but I just sent out my US FBI clearance and will not get it before the next 2 month.
what have people done in the same situation?

You can apply without FBI certificate as well. You can add an explanation letter and proof like Courier receipts, photocopy of form etc. to confirm that you have submitted your FBI check application. CIC is aware of the time it takes to get US clearance.

There are many people on the forum who have done that and I haven't heard any issues in their cases.

Sorry to Hijack your thread but just wanted to know how did u manage to get the fingerprints
for the application to FBI ?
