My spouse have just received ATIP file that he has requested. We have some queries.
What does it mean:
Clearance request(s)
RCMP : Y

Also what does it mean:
PAPER FILE HISTORY

Office : Montreal Citizenship

Location : Post March 2020 - Exam
Status : Open

What information do i need to check in the file?

How do i know that his background check is complete or not?

I dont know what Post March 2020 - exam mean. Security is always blank. If it is passed then you will see BG as completed on the tracker.

is your background check completed in online tracker?
you are not giving enough information with full timeline.

Then there is issue/delay in finishing background check. Anything showing not completed or pending in gcms? May be its pending with csis(thats what i hear if background not complete).
Most officers wont issue test invite till background check.

for me my background check is complete.
I did not see any status pending in gcms notes.

Post March 2020 - Exam is a status that I haven't seen before. It could simply mean that the file is in a pile of applicants whose tests are pending since March 2020.

Security will always be redacted and you'll never see any due date, updated date or status.

If Criminality says "Completed" but Background checks are in Progress, you can deduce that the security checks are still pending.

For my Prohibition, Language and Residency I see a due date of March 04, 2021. We are way past the date now. Question is - does this really hold any significance or is meaning less?

Applied in Jan 2020, Ottawa, Test completed July 15, 2021.
