Received invitation email for ceremony. Decision made in the old tracker. No update in new tracker. Language skill still in progress.

Hello,

I’m asking this question on behalf of my friend.

He received invitation email for ceremony yesterday. The pdf attached to this email is complete with all info including the seat number and Zoom link and pass and time.

However, the new tracker is not updated yet. I’ve never seen such case. Even language skill is still in progress in new tracker. Status in the old tracker is “decision made” though.

Is it a glitch? Any one in the same boat or with the same experience?

Hi, IRCC systems are glitchy at best. Seems other persons are also getting similar oath emails without update in their tracker. See the link below

I would recommend your friend to try calling IRCC to confirm. I would bet that the email is legitimate. Good Luck for him.

He received the email for Vancouver office.
