Hello,
timeline : App Received feb 28th 2013
AOR : april 9th 2013.

i had received a set of GCMS notes on december 12th 2013 and nothing had been started yet except criminality (which was started on april 2013)...so i thouhght to myself, it's ok i will just wait it out.
on january 6th i ordered another set of GCMS notes which i received on March 7th (yes 2 months later, they had sent me the wrong notes on february 6th so i had to wait for them to generate new notes i guess)
well the notes i got on March 6th 2014 showed that nothing had been started on my file still.....no notes, no review required, nothing at all....it seems like they haven't even touched my app yet....

i know the processing is estimated at 13 months, but should i contact MP or lawyer or should i just wait....and bite the remainder of my nails ?

Definite try to contact CIC. They do strange things and you need to know what's going on...

That is really strange.. They need a better system

That must be really frustrating. I can't understand how they have not even looked at the file. When were your notes generated? I once had it happen that they sent me older notes instead of newer ones, so check that.

Yes Contact CIC, this is too long ... you should have landed by this time.

All the best !!!

Hi Brother,
I can understand whats going through your mind. I don't know how they can't touch a file for so long. I always felt they should work on the concept of 'Priority Date' as in the USA.
I don't understand how they proceed to other file without completing assessment of an already existing file.

Instead of GCMS notes, send an e-mail to them and try to get some info...Good Luck!!
