Received eCOPR outside Canada

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding receiving my eCOPR outside Canada.

Due to a medical emergency, I let IRCC know that I'll be outside Canada for a couple of months.

However, they still issued my eCOPR and I just received it outside Canada today.

I'm a bit worried that it might cause an issue, especially when I apply for Canadian citizenship in the future.

Can I ask if it will be an issue, if so, I'd appreciate it for your input on what I should do.

You need to contact IRCC asap. May be they never got your request for staying outside. Or they didn't communicate properly internally.

Double check the date of eCOPR issued. Some member was seeing a much earlier date on their eCOPR than the date that they received the eCOPR email.
If that date is before you left Canada, then you may be OK.
