I received my COPR 2 weeks ago and plan on travelling to Canada in a week but my application status still hasn't changed to approved. It shows the background check is still in progress and under final decision it says 'Your application is in progress'. Has anyone else experienced the same?

Once you receive your COPR you have no need
to even log back into your portal again.
That piece of paper and your 1 time Canadian visa (if your country of origin needed it) are all that’s needed for you to make your landing.
