Received COPR and BOWP in progress

Hi,

i am so confused with different thoughts

My curent WP is expiring Mar 28. I have sent my passport for Stamping. BOWP is in progress.

1. I understand until COPR received i am eligible to stay in CANADA legally as my BOWP is in progress.

2. Let say If i get COPR on Mar 29 and my BOWP application has ben closed with some status on Mar 30 (like PR issued , closed with no action,declinrd etc) in that case am i eligible to stay legally since i got my COPR ?

Basically i want to know COPR is legal status in CANADA or must land to become legal status ?

No, your COPR does not grant you any status. You need to actually land and become a PR.
