Received AIP after relationship interview in Etobicoke. Whats next?

Hi guys!

My husband and I had our relationship interview last 2 weeks ago in Etobicoke. It went well and I got my AIP 5 days after.

Im just wondering whats the next step after this? How long does it usually take to get DM? Will it take longer since our file was transferred in a local office? Is there still any chances of getting refused?

The officer told us after the interview that I will get my Residency soon but i dont wanna hope too much and im still scared. I know its only been 8 days since i received my aip but im getting anxious about the DM.

Can anyone help me pls thank u!

it all depends, sometimes it takes a week for DM and landing interview, sometimes 2 months. Nobody knows.
