Receipt from CIC for FSW applicants?

Hi there,

I Fedexed my FSW application package to CIC in Nova Scotia back on the beginning of June. However,I didn't receive any receipts or anything from CIC. No fund is deducted to my bank account from CIC either.
So I am wondering whether this is normal? How long will CIC respond after you sent out your package?

Dear zioxu

the Central Intake Office of CIC does not acknowledge the receipt of application package. For that the only proof is the delivery acknoeledgement from your courier service.

If your application is complete in all respect then the first sign from CIC is the charging of your credit card. Currently the average time between receipt of application package at CIO, Nova Scotia and CC charge is about 8 weeks. So ... happy waiting.
