Trying to be a bit extra careful.
I am just about to apply my WP in High skilled sorry High wage job category ;D

Want to hear the reasons that might cause work permit rejection?

I know couple criminal history and medical.

Proof that you meet the job requirement. i.e previous employer experience certificates.

Strong proof that you are tie up with your home country. means vo should satisfied with financial and social/family attachment with ur home country.

police clearance.

forms to be filled and validate.

If I have to show funds. How much?
can I borrow money if I fall short?

(As per my knowledge Financial means fixed and liquid assets do you have.
Family attachment means your wife your kids your parents are strongly tied to you, So Visa officer will be satisfied that you will return back to your country after completing the work permit.

I have around 6000(Can $) in bank acc and I can deposit around 9000 Canadian dollars immediately. But I am thinking can I do this now(Just before applying WP)?
