Hi all,

I currently have an IEC Work Permit which was issued June 2015 and requires me to enter Canada by June 2016. My personal circumstances have changed and it is unlikely I'll be able to get to Canada before it expires. Can I just apply for another permit?

Does anyone know if this counts as using my IEC work permit? I am from New Zealand and I've read that we cannot "participate" more than once in the IEC programme.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks, Anne

Yes - since you are from New Zealand you can only have one participation. Unfortunately this does count as your one participation. You'll either have to enter Canada by June 2016 to activate the IEC or forget about participating in the program.
