Really need help

Hi guys

I applied for a study permit through vfs in Accra Ghana my application passed the normal processing time .twice the normal processing times (18weeks) I did medicals and it was a paper application .I got refused because I answered 'NO' to the question 'Having ever been refused a visa by any country' ...I mistakely answered No because I felt I had not turned 18 yrs when I was refused a US tourist visa .

I reapplied a week after my refusal .I corrected the mistake by answering yes to that question and added a letter of explanation. Its been a week after reapplication. And j want to know if ...::

I would be called for another medical exams???

My application will pass the normal processing time again???

Get a chance to have the visa???

My program is deferred to starts september..........plzz help

Medical exams are valid for one year so you won't have to go through that again.

I can't say anything about your other questions

It's impossible for any of us to say what your chances are of being approved or how long processing will take.

I am only 19 and I never knew I would be held responsible for my privious refusal which I was minor
Iv explained that I felt I had not turned 18 when I first got refused ..that lead to my mistake
Hope that make sense??

It doesn't matter how old you were when you were refused - you must answer the question truthfully on your application.

I have 6 backlogs in B.Tech(Electrical) from which 2 were in 7th sem which means i have completed my bachelors in 4.5 years.
B.Tech - 69.00%
12th - 68.00%
10th - 79.50%
IELTS 6.5 overall (L-6.5, R-7.0, W-6.0, S-6.5)

i have 2 years gap between 12th and B.Tech

I want to do diploma in Power Engineering Technology.
Will I get student visa...??
what are chances of rejection..??

hello kuus,
can we have a full detail of reason for refusal cos i tot not disclosing that you have been refused usa b4 leads to a 5 year ban. i too forgot to indicate my 2011 usa refusal. my application is 4weeks in. dont know wat to do? applied from Accra also. I know with God my application will be approved.

Oh no ...its not always about ban ...u are give bans for fraud documents or fake document s.....I wasnt given a ban
The reason was...
I didnt answer all questions truthful ly
For I said no to the question ..having ever been refused a visa.

ok....did u inform them before they fully processed your visa about the mistake? cos the VAC callcentre has asked me to send them an email pertaining to my issue.... all the same thanx and all the best

You can certainly be given a 5 year ban for failing to declare a previous refusal. CIC treats these matters very seriously and we've seen a number of people on this forum end up with 5 year bans for this reason. You just got lucky.

yh james ...18 weeks was too much so I massaged them ..buh they never replied untill I had the results....
I think there was a debate on my application ..so they only want me to tell the truth cus my medicalls came 3 weeks after submittion

And guys till when will I get madicals passed ..because cic has my medicals already .since the previous medical is still valid.
