Hello folks,
I was asked to undergo a series of additional medical tests pertaining to a lung infection from twenty years ago. I finally had to get a sputum test done about 9 weeks ago, after which results I'm supposed to get yet another X-Ray done. If everything checks out, I will finally have passed my medical test.
I received a Ready For Visa email a couple of days ago asking me to turn in my passport. My application profile on the CIC page also says that I have passed the medical exam. However, my panel physician says that the final sputum test reports are yet to arrive.
As you can imagine, this is extremely confusing. Have I cleared my medical or is there some kind of operational goof-up on the part of Canada Immigration? Should I go ahead with submitting my passport? The window is only thirty days, and I'm travelling to the UK in June, so I have to act fast.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
