Hi everyone,
Received our Ready For Visa email last night (wahoo!!), gathered all documents today i.e. photocopies of passport, photos, Xpress post envelope and annex A filled up, will send them all in the morning.
Question, what's next ? we're already in Canada and we don't need to send our passports just photocopies so obviously we don't get the stamp straight away. The annex A says : "I agree that the permanent resident visa will be affixed to my passport and dependents’ passports, if applicable.
My Permanent Resident visa and/or confirmation of permanent residence will be mailed to the below Canadian or US address".
So then do we have to go and cross the border to get our Passports stamped ? Or do we just get a PR visa that we put in our Passports ?
Just want to be prepared as I have a 8 weeks old boy that don't have a canadian passport yet that we will need if we have to cross the border.
Thanks for your help
