Hi folks,

I got the "Ready For Visa" email early this month (June) but I was travelling to Caribbeans around that time from India and I requested CEC to allow me to submit my passport from Caribbeans and in reply to that they agreed and also send below list of documents which include PCC and birth certificate and form 5669 & 5406... I am failed to understand why these forms and birth certificate been asked again ?
Is it normal that we submit all the below forms while we submit our passports ? Also, do I need to give me previous passports which are cancelled or only the latest and valid one ?

Did you get MR email earlier and did you complete the medicals earlier? Without MR, they should not have sent the Ready for Visa email.
☐ Your sponsor is required to pay your Right of Permanent Residence Fee to the Case Processing Centre in Canada. A request for this payment has already been sent to your sponsor from the Case Processing Centre. Again, was all of this forms sent during the application stage?

Appears to be a BioData form. This process was no longer used and I wonder why you received this request.

Please submit all the items listed above within SIXTY (60) days from the date of this letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application. It is in your own interest to respond to this letter as quickly as possible. It generally takes from two to four weeks to make a final decision on your application once ALL the documents have been submitted, excluding mail or courier handling.
I will recommend that you complete all the required documents and send it across via email. Also ask why these documents are requested at this stage.

Apparently biodata is still sometimes requested, possibly where there are dependents or other particular cases.

If I were to guess they sent you the wrong email.

VOs copy-paste from templates and older emails so it wouldn't be the first time.

Thanks folks for replying to the thread. I went to High Commission this Monday to check on the list of of documents asked. I took the print out of this letter and asked me to wait while they check my application status. After sometime, the officer came out asked for my passport and photos, I told them I am here just to get appointment and little clarification on type of documents been requested as most of them were sumitted before, then she showed me the print out of my email were she manually ticked few things which are ONLY required

1) Passport
2) Photos

and asked me to come on wed morning and collect passport by afternoon.

I did the same and got the Immigration VISA stamped. :)

Though I have procured all the mentioned documents which were not required, I agree with you gus, they probably used some old template.

Thanks everyone.

Congratulations! I was going to say, the problem wasn't the form letter, just that the required items should have been checked and apparently were not.
