Hi reader,

Could you tell me what options did you choose for your foreign Bachelor's degree and post-secondary diploma in your express entry profile? Also, could you also list the score that you received based on both of your education periods? Thanks

I am trying to see if the information I have inserted in my express entry profile is correct.

Thanks for your help.

By the way, following are the relevant options that you receive while selecting the "level of education" in the express entry profile.

- Two-year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute
- Bachelor's degree OR a three or more year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute
- Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years

People offer their help here for free. Sometimes it takes a while to get a response.

If you expect immediate responses then I would recommend you hire a lawyer. If you want free answers, then learn to be patient.

Cursing people when they don't deserve it has a nasty way of bouncing back.

have some patience man....

i can tell you what i selected.

For my bachelor's i selected Bachelor's degree
and for canadian post graduation certificate I selected 2 or more degree option.

and most of us did same thing.

thanks.

Now answer few of my questions:
For OOPNP proof of funds:
If you are already in Canada then your balance that you present as a bank statement should be in chequing account or savings account?

Also do we have to do notarized true copies for our degree certificate for both the degree? i.e. Canadian diploma and bachelor's degree for which you are presenting ECA too.

Hopw you can answer my questions too. thanks again.

Seriously? You thought I was serious? That was sarcasm, child.

Tell me what are the chances that CIC will do a draw and select only one candidate and that will happen to be me? :p :p :p

Give some thought. :p :p :p

Patience didn't work, but my curse did.. just kidding :p :p :p

As to answer your firs question, I think it shouldn't be an issue what type of bank account you have. As long as it's your money and is in a bank account in your name. I don't see any issue here.

Who said that we need notarized copy? Honestly I am not aware of it. For the Canadian degree/diploma you need "a certified copy" which I don't really know what is. I will probably call to Opportunities Ontario or my college to find out about it.

I did a quick search of the study guide while I was writing this answer and came across this under Incomplete Applications: Documents requiring translation are not certified or notarized. If a supporting document is not in English or French, you must provide a copy of the document and a complete, certified translation of the document.

And under 3.2 EDUCATION:

You must submit the following documents to verify your education:
If you have a Canadian degree, provide the following documentation:
- A certified true copy of your degree granted from an academic institution in Canada; AND
- Official transcripts submitted by you in the original sealed envelope from the academic institution in Canada that granted the degree.

If you have a foreign degree, submit a copy of the ECA:
- The ECA report must be issued on or after the date CIC designated the organization;
- The ECA report must not be more than five years old on the date that CIC receives your Express Entry profile and your application for permanent residence; AND
- The ECA report must state that your credential is the equivalent of a Canadian Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Hope this helps.
