hey everyone......

I'm planning to apply for a canadian study permit from pakistan........ I completed my secondary school in 2005 and after that i went to the uk in 2006 to do my higher national diploma which consisted of two years but i only did my first year and got my heigher national certificate in 2009...... then i came back home and started to work with my father..... now i've not been studying for almost 2,1/2 years so if i apply for a visa what are my chances of getting one ???? and the other thing is that what if i have been refused a uk student visa in the last 2 years ???? will that effect my application or do the canadian visa officers mind their own business instead of going in detail about my uk visa refusals ???? im applying for a 2 year diploma course in Seneca college and the classes will start in sept 2012, i will also have my first semesters tuition fee paid and have the remaining first years fee and approx CAN$ 12,000 in my bank........i also have my police certificate and a good score in my english test...... so what are my chances ???? plzzzzzz people with experience and others share their opinions with me ????? and also tell me wether the CHC islamabad call student for an interview..... thax every1 for reading and sharing.....lov u all

1. Don't apply in simple Diploma go for Advance Diploma or Bachelors Degree
2. Don't apply in Toronto college, if your intention is to go Toronto only apply in university.
3. CIC mind their own business so don't worry about it.
4. There is no interview call for Student visa.

In some cases students are called for interviews for clarification and confirmation,as it happened to me because of my study gap. But the interview went well. Maa-sha Allah.

Hello

Does it mean that even before you lodge a student visa with CIC, you would need to pay the university's tuition fees first? What if your visa gets denied, will you be able to retrieve the fees you have paid the school?
