Hi everyone,
We need some help regarding this matter. I arrived in Canada March 5, 2014 around 9:30 pm in Vancouver thus my work permit started March 5, 2014 and will end March 4, 2016. I arrived in the province where I will work the following day March 6 and have to process my SIN and healthcard. The next day was a friday so I was scheduled to start working March 10, 2014. I am qaulified to apply for High medical needs program after my 2 year contract. My concern is that since I started 5 days late from my Work permit date my employer will give a reference letter or certificate of employment with start date of March 10, 2014 and ending on March 4,2016. Will this 5 day gap affect my application with CIC since the program clearly states that I need to complete a 24 month work experience? Or this would be neglible since it is my company that scheduled me to start on that specific date by giving me ample time to rest.
What measures can I take to solve this problem? Thanks!
