Hi,

I am trying to get a bank statement printed for my online bank account, however I am currently calling in a few debts and accounts receivable to get my account balance over the $11824 to show proof of funds for one person..

I am worried that it will look suspicious if my account transaction history shows a whole bunch of $1000k deposits coming in the week before I get a printed copy from my bank. So I am wondering if it will be okay to show a bank balance/statement that only shows the total of my bank balance, but doesn't show any transaction history? (So basically doesn't show the history of how the total became the total)

Will CIC accept this? ie. Just a bank balance statement/account statement showing only the total amount of the account, but with no transaction history showing?

anyone know?

To avoid this, just get certificate from bank showing you have the said balance, d certificate will show no history of transaction but will indicate the total balance, this is what I used and it worked

thanks.

Do you know what the type of certificate is called, so I know what to ask my bank for...

ask your bank people that you have to declare the bank balance for visa purposes, its a routine procedure for them they would readily do it without asking any questions.

For additional convenience during visa application scrutiny you can ask them mention your balance in Canadian Dollars (at current rate) as well.

ON BANK LETTER HEAD
