Re-opening EE Profile with same passport

Hi,

Suppose one receives ITA but does not decline the invitation, and does not submit application within the given 90 days time. In that case, cic.gc.ca explicitly states that the applicant will be removed from the EE pool.

Considering the above scenario, can a person who's application was removed from the pool open a new profile with the same valid passport number used in the previously submitted application? Does the ee profile reject passport numbers that were once entered into the system?

No issue.

But I mean it's easier to decline the invitation to be back in the pool and not having to create a new profile.
