As long as you meet the residency obligation you should be fine.

Just be aware for next 2 years after you return to Canada, you can't leave for any longer than 10 days in that 2 year span or you'll then be in violation of the RO.

Agreed. You will have been outside Canada for 3 years minus 10 days. You are allowed up to 1094 days which is 3 years minus one day.

No, there is no such law. I don't even know how these rumours get started. The law that said you had to stay 6/12 months in Canada to keep your PR was changed in 2002 and replaced with the current law that says 2/5 years in Canada.

The new citizenship law states that in order to apply for citizenship, you need 4/6 years in Canada and you need at least 4 calendar years where you have spent more than 6 months which can delay some peoples applications. That's the only 6 month law in effect right now.

There are also different rules for unrelated things like most provinces expect you to reside 6 months a year or 6/12 in order to be considered a resident of that province and to keep your health care coverage active.
