Re-entering Canada after 3 months - too soon?

So, I ended up visiting various Canadian cities for a total of 5 and a half months from late August 2018 till January of this year - due to too many reunions after 6 years**. I have been back in my home country: India for 3 months now.

My girlfriend and I got back together and I am now exclusively visiting her for 1 week - as she has a week off from work. She is Canada born with a solid profile. Anyhow, I have already booked return tickets. And, we have plans to visit Seattle out of the 1 week trip.

I have documented evidence to indicate that I was only visiting and not trying to live on a visitor visa earlier. Regardless, I am concerned if I will be re-entering Canada too soon - after 3 months? I have never been pulled by CBSA for secondary inspections before.

**Background: I lived in Canada from 2008 till 2012 on valid study permits. Living & working in home country since 2013 - self-employed. cc: @scylla @Bryanna @canuck_in_uk Any help will be much appreciated!

You may get questioned on it, and if you say you're visiting your girlfriend, you may get another question or two. Just be honest, show your return ticket, and be prepared to explain that you intend to respect your visa terms.

There's also a chance you'll get no questions whatsoever.
