Hello. I am new to this forum. I became Canadian PR in Nov 2005, I lived in Canada for about 30 days & got my PR & SIN cards & then I went back to Pakistan to look after & wind up my official & family affairs. Meanwhile during my stay in Pakistan, I got married in April 2006 & now have almost 17 months old baby as well. Due to certain circumstances, I have delayed my return & re-entered Canada permanently in third week of July 2008 (after almost 2 yrs & 7 months).

I want to submit both spouse & child sponsorship immediately as I can’t put my family for extended period of time in Pakistan & wants to save my processing time as well. After discussing different aspect of my case, I got the feedback quoting “You can submit immediately, but you may need to submit If you have been in Canada less than a year (and so don't have a tax return "option c" printout to show this), then the easiest way to show you are not claiming social assistance is by including proof of employment”. Now my questions are:-

1. So far i have not get any sort of job although i am trying hard for the job. In this situation, can I forward my sponsorship case immediately when i do not have a job nor a proof of employment or even I remained away from Canada for extended period of time (although it is within the residency requirement). Any negative impact on my case due to these factors?

2. Should I attach a bank statement, just to show the proof of funds to sponsor my family or to provide the proof that you are not bankrupt or claiming social assistance. (although it is also not necessary in family or child sponsorship case but may be it can facilitate my case?).

3. After returning Canada, i have submitted my last three years (2005,2006,2007) tax return to CRA, should i wait for option "C" printout or notice of assessment or i can attach an explanation for No-option C printout.

Looking for prompt response,

Thank you,
