Re-enter canada with work visa for tourist/visit purpose

Hello everyone,
I have an open work permit (PGWP) as well as a multiple entry TRV W1 (with purpose work) that are both valid until 07/2019.
Last year, I've left Canada to join my spouse in Europe.
However, I still have some personal belongings in Canada and would like to retrieve them and make a last visit to Canada and my old friends there.
Am I allowed to re-enter on that still valid work visa/work permit combination, or will I have problems while trying to enter Canada at an airport.
