i got an email from Abu Dhabi Visa office in October 1st " This file is under processing pending review by a Visa Officer.
What is the difference between "In Process" and "Pending Review by Visa Officer"? thanks!

I personally think is "In Process" means that the documents sent are ok, Bank Draft debited and a VO has been assigned to process your package.
"Pending officer review" means The package is still with the VO had he has not finalized(approved / refused) or taken any decision yet.

This is my personal view though. Seniors can share their experiences.

No they did debit it and if fact they sent me a receipt also stating that, the Fee is to process ur application irrespective of being approved or rejected.
Hey do you think we would have to undergo Medicals also??
Did you receive any medical referral mail from the Embassy??

I sent follow-up as well and they replied like this on my first email says:
Dear Sir/Madam,

I think they are replying differently each and every applicants depends on the status.

in my case, when i ask my bank to give me a bank draft same time/minute its debited from my account.

Yes you are right the bank draft is debited at any cost I think the only case its not debited in that if you miss any basic documents like for e.g you missed the TWP 1295 form or family information form etc, any basic form if you miss they will instantly return your documents without filing your file. So in that case they will return your bank draft as well. But if they have filled an application no against your package, then ur bank draft is gone

So in that case they will return your bank draft as well. But if they have filled an application no against your package, then ur bank draft is gone

dear, I requested bank draft before i submitted my documents because i have to attached the fee to the package while sending from aramex, when i was on the bank itself its been debited on my account. following day i follow up online on aramex if they sent the package and its shows submitted

however, am not so sure now if my application are complete or if theres any missing docs that i have to submit yet. on your point of view/opinion what do you think about the emails above embassy has sent me? meaning they are working on it now?

My first email was {September 24, 2012 7:59 PM} although i know my appication was just been submitted recently, i just wanted to re-assured that they are replying on follow ups and they did replied [Tue 10/2/2012 11:32 AM]

my second email was [October 10, 2012 10:17 AM] and they replied Sunday, [October 14, 2012 4:47 PM].

anyways, some cases if they refused/declined applications usually they will send back all your documents immediately in no time because theres no point for them on holding/keeping your docs and passport; [same happened to my application for Visit Visa (TRV) last month of April they refused it and send docs back to me within 7days].

I think Ismailhaiggy is right. If they had to decline or refuse the application they would have done long back. Bu in your case as now it had been delayed so long, i guess you have more than enough chances to get ur TWP approved..
Just wait for the good news and then we all party
