I don't want to sound offensive, but you may want to get the grammar and general structure of the sentences rechecked. It helps if the letters are clear, concise and easy to follow.

IMO, he has a bigger problem: intending to be an entrepreneur by showing only CAD 17,000. That's just a little above the low-income cut-off. I also get the impression from the CIC website that the federal entrepreneur and investor programs have been terminated, so his purpose of travel is poorly thought out.

bellaluna and simplyaddo.... I think the OP's new TRV application has some new red flags (besides the old ones).... and not just incorrect grammar or insufficient funds to be an entrepreneur.

Perhaps, he's referring to the Start-up Visa Program?

In another thread, he stated his bank balance was in excess of CAD 50,000 for his previous TRV application. The current bank balance of CAD 17,000 is a steep drop in his personal finances in a short period of time = Red Flag No.1

As I have shown my intention of settling in Canada (for quality of life) through the business entrepreneur category.
= Red Flag No.2

To which province is he applying? And which immigration program?

I suggest he must give some serious thought to the purpose of his visit + quality and type of documentation/ evidence + his financial situation, etc.... instead of submitting another TRV application in a hurry

@Bryanna: Yeah I think he brought it down to 17000 when you pointed out in the other thread that his 50000 balance wasn't justifiable.

The SVP requires support from an angel investor in Canada, so if that's his intent, I'd imagine he needs proof of his appointments with these investors during his intended visit.

Quoted for emphasis to OP. I get that entrepreneurs are supposed to take risks and see possibilities where there aren't any, but the plan just doesn't seem realistic.

Personally, I think it is much too confusing and unclear to serve as a basis for TRV.

It is perfectly fine to visit Canada for establishing a business down the road, but since most provinces require a business plan or meetings with business immigration officers, or similar steps like investments in the province, a clear goal would help that application a lot.

He could make appointments with business or investor services in Canada and provide those as a clear indication that he is following a certain province's business immigration requirements, trying to meet all the needed criteria to submit an application for business immigration in one province.

For example, Manitoba requires the following steps:

To qualify for the MPNP-B, interested applicants must:
have a minimum verifiable personal net worth of CDN$350,000;
have a minimum three years of successful business ownership and management experience or a minimum three years of executive-level experience as senior manager of a business; and
score a minimum of 60 points in the Adaptability Assessment Matrix.

The applicant must also be prepared to:
attend an interview with a MPNP-B officer;
make an Eligible Business Investment in Manitoba; and
reside in Manitoba along with his/her dependent family members.

The applicant may have to:
conduct an Exploratory Visit to Manitoba. The applicant must provide a visit report and other documents to demonstrate the research conducted during this visit (please see details on page 14); and
provide the results of a language competency test to demonstrate language proficiency.

I think, if business immigration is the ultimate goal, the application should show the appropriate steps are being followed to be able to apply for business immigration down the road.

As it stands, the application is so broad and general, it simply doesnt appear to have a specific goal in mind.

I think there's lack of clarity.... in thought, process and documentation.... which can otherwise help the OP to achieve his immigration goals.

Like I mentioned in another post, his TRV application seems to be a mishmash of paperwork without doing any homework.

I could be wrong.... perhaps, the OP is possibly being lead down the garden path by an agent..... without the OP verifying whether the immigration program exists.... or what it takes to qualify/process for a Start-up Visa (??)..... or what it takes to prepare a solid TRV application (at the very least)
