Hi everyone,
My wife applied for her TRV in November, 2016 and unfortunately it was refused. We had requested visa for the duration of my work permit, which was until December 2018. We got the below reason from CIC through ATIP.
"Considering economic conditions and employment prospects in home country, and taking into account factors including travel history, economic establishment and family ties, I am not satisfied that the applicant would respect the terms of admission as a temporary resident in Canada."
We had attached my payslips, employment letter, bank statements and invitation letter. From her side, we attached her bank statement, letter of requisition. We had also showed enough funds for the stay.
Current situation:
It has been two months since the visa refusal. My job situation has changed and I've moved to a new job (contract) at a big corporation and we intend to apply for a visa for 2-3 weeks. My wife's father owns a company in India and we missed attaching documents of financial support from her father in our initial application, which we would in this application. The plan is for her to visit Canada in March and we both have booked vacation during April in Thailand (I came to Canada soon after our wedding in August, which I intend to mention in my letter to the officer).
My question is about the strength of the new application and would there be any concerns raised considering we requested for a longer visa initially. We both are really anxious to ensure our application is strong this time around. Any inputs or suggestions are appreciated.
