I need help for some information regarding re applying family sponsorship. My application to sponsor my niece was approved and about to arrive here in Canada by January 2016, but her employer in the Philippines offer her job promotion and might work in US when they found out that she's leaving their company. So she was so overwhelmed because she really love her job and my effort to apply her to sponsor make her more confuse.

I know that I can withdraw my sponsorship application anytime but my concern here is, if I could still sponsor other relative again?, will it affect my previews application for withdrawing the undertaking?

any inputs please advice

thanks

I am not sure, but I think if your application was already approved and your niece immigration visa was issued you cannot withdraw the application and undertaking any longer even if she decided not to land.

If the COPR has expired and the niece has not become a permanent resident by completing landing, the undertaking is non-existent and the application is effectively voided. If on the other hand, the niece could still complete the landing procedures, the application is still active but could be withdrawn, even up to the day of landing, by the sponsor. If the niece has already landed, the application is completed and the undertaking is active.

thanks Zardoz, I understood that info already. My only concern is if I could still sponsor other relative and there would not be any problem because of withdrawing the first application.

This is from cic website
May I cancel my undertaking once it has been approved?

If you change your mind about sponsoring a child placed for adoption or other relatives, you must inform CPC-M at CPCM-EXTCOM@cic.gc.ca of your decision to withdraw your undertaking before they are issued permanent resident visas.

If you inform the CPC-M before they are issued permanent resident visas
CPC-M will assess your request and inform you in writing if your withdrawal request is accepted.
If you inform the CPC-M after they are issued permanent resident visas
The commitment you and your co-signer, if applicable, made to support your family is valid for the term of your undertaking.
