Hi,

I applied for PR through the PnP program (I was nominated through AINP - Alberta Provincial).

My application came back (the entire physical package) stating that my credit card was declined.

The bank had recently changed my credit card due to security reasons and hence the earlier one got declined.

Please advice on what should I do now ?

I can re-send the whole package with the new credit card info however my provincial nomination has expired now. Will CIC consider the previous application as it was ?

Thanks.

Thanks for replying.

This is my friend's case, who applied through PNP, and got his application returned to him due to credit card declination.

tel your friend to call AINP and request for extension of nomination. He/she can't resend it with expired nomination.

Thanks.

After receiving AINP extension does he have to:

1. re-send the existing CIC application with necessary modifications (new credit card info etc), or,
2. create a fresh application (from scratch)

If your friend gets an extension of his nomination, it would be better to pay the fees and include the receipt.Credit card payments sometimes do not go through for other reasons. I just got my nomination myself and that is exactly what I have decided to do(it's one of the options stated in the package). Alternatively he could add a bankers draft. Goodluck with the resubmission.
