Pre-Assessed..
Guys I received my RCMP report yesterday. I have a few questions.
1. What is the document number ? There are two numbers on the report. One that says our file no and the other that says reference. So which one to put in the system?
2. When was it issued ? WAs it issued on the day the fingerprint search were conducted or is it the date on the document ?
3. Expiry date? I suppose six months from the issue date?

Thanks guys and let me know if there is anything that needs to be taken care of as I update the RCMP report. Thanks.

Hi

I got request from CIC to get RCMP too. Can you share your experience with getting RCMP? How does it work and how much time it takes? How much is the fee?

Thanks

1. I put the reference number. I believe it does not matter what number you put.
2. For the issue date I put the date on the letter/when it was mailed.
3. Expiry date I filled in 1 year from the issue date, this does't really matter though.

I did all that and got RPRF 5 days later so I believe I did it correctly.

Hey bUd
I live in calgary n there is an agency they do the fingerprinting stuff and charge 50$ for that. Thats pretty much it. I got my report in like 10 days. Which city are you in ?

it has been 12 days since I submitted my figure print , still nothing from RCMP. Just left them a voice mail!

RCMP is not mandatory for everyone. If the case officer feels like they can request it later. To be on safe side, I did an upfront RCMP to cut the time of application processing. My RCMP arrived in 10 business days. Sometimes it takes longer so hold on...

Would you kindly shed some light on how you did your upfront RCMP? I was living in 2 separate provinces in Canada for 2.5 and 1.5 years respectively, what should be my procedure? I might be in a vacation soon and will be in my home country, so if they request that at that time I will be in trouble, that's why asking.

Thanks!
