RCMP criminal record check amid Canada post strike

Anybody applied for RCMP criminal record check recently ? How did you receive your RCMP criminal record check amid Canada post strike ?

Also they asked for my wife’s criminal record only . And they mentioned if she spend 6 months or more in Canada then only they need criminal record check. But she is been here only 5months . So shall I submit a letter of explanation and not submit the certificate
