Just got the following from the consulate (São Paulo)
Dear Sir /Madam,
This e-mail is in reference to your permanent residence application, under assessment at this office. After reviewing your case, we noted that the following is missing:
- Police certificate from RCMP [fingerprints] for your spouse, Mrs xxxx

I was instructed by a friend to go to Commisionaires with my passport to get it done. The person also instructed me to have it sent to my address in Toronto and that I should courier it myself to the consulate - claiming RCMP will use regular mail and it may take several weeks to get to Brazil.
Do you agree or have another suggestion? I am tired of spending so much money on couriers!
