Really? So many of them? Can you provide a source? The question for the next draw is how many of them there is with highest score.ashwinbavdekar said:Well i really hope the CRS scores don't shoot up again after international students get extra points, although i think the scores might just balance themselves out after the reduction in points given to LMIA holders.
Really happy for all the LMIAs getting cleared today, this portrays that they are fair and think from all angles and perspectives before making important changes/decisions.
I was at 461 with a 1 year post grad credentials , hope to make it through with 476 this time......have been stuck at 461 since March
I agree.. they did make a fair move. It gives hope.ashwinbavdekar said:Well i really hope the CRS scores don't shoot up again after international students get extra points, although i think the scores might just balance themselves out after the reduction in points given to LMIA holders.

Mr. Speaker, I believe that the best potential future Canadians are
international students. They are educated, they are relatively young, they
speak English or French, and they know something about the country. We are
in competition for their services with other countries.
That is why, yesterday, I announced changes in additional points for those
students so that no less than 40% of our economic immigrants will in fact be
international students.
----------------------------------------------------------
According to 2017 immigration level, the total of economic immigration is 172,500, so 172,500*0.4=69,000.
I'm at 468 lol so i know the feels.LovableJimbo said:Can't believe it. I'm at 469 and I'm really worried about the Express Entry changes giving more invites to students. I gain no points with these changes and feel like I've missed the chance of getting an invitation for a while...

McCallum said no less than 40% of economic immigrants (EE ppl) will be international students!
If an average international student gets 380 + 50 new points = 430 points <- is this the new equilibrium point?
What is the highest possible CRS for students?moelaghil said:I would disagree, the average student at least has 1 year of experience in the 3 years PGWP that they receive. So currently a student with 1 year of experience and CLB 10 should be at the 444 mark.
Considering the changes and the fact that the ITA numbers have increased by more than 50% in comparison with 2015, I would expect the CRS score to rise for a few draws to clear out the international students that are currently 430+ but then settle back down at the 450 range by next year.
But not all students want to apply for PR and not all students have CLB 10. CLB 10 is not that hard, but it is not that easy either.moelaghil said:currently a student with 1 year of experience and CLB 10 should be at the 444 mark.
