Close to none. PNP draws have, without exception, been followed by CEC draws.
Seems like it. But there has to be a draw today. If it is CEC. All candidates who complete 1 year experience in April will be gone. So, next draw could be no program specific. Just a theory, though.

Why? That doesn't make any sense. People complete 1 year of experience on a rolling basis. There is nothing special about April. All program draws will depend on rate of vaccination rates and the border opening. It took 2 weeks for the pool to be filled with at least 5k CEC candidates after 27k were removed. There is absolutely nothing to indicate there there will suddenly be no more CEC candidates in the pool.

While you are in the pool, you get experience for completing 1 year of experience, when you are in your 11th month, and technically people can't accept the invite, as they haven't completed 1 year, hence, they don't qualify for CEC category.

While that being said, March invite cleared everyone except who declined in the Feb and new profiles. And similarly, the one happened on 1st April, will clear most of them (who complete experience in April, and few, who will reject, which will be completing in May).

Hence, I had that put up. I could be totally wrong here, but just a thought I had.

Also, Ontario is going on 4 week lockdown, so, idk what will happen next. But lets see, I really think, they should conduct open draws. It's high time now.

Nah, that seems like a stretch, just wild conjecture all over. Regardless of when people reach their 11th month or whatever, there are continuously 5k+ CEC people entering the pool every week. Even the total number of candidates in the pool is going up every draw, even though it remained fairly consistent or went up very slowly prior to th 27k draw.

Like I said, all program draws have nothing to do with this. It depends on when and how they are able to vaccinate their population. All program draws last year were tied to case numbers drastically reducing, but the next wave hit the country harder than ever, and there is no indication that they will repeat the same mistakes as last year. The PM even mentioned that now isn't the time to reopen borders, and that is the single most relevant thing for all program draws to resume. Expect it to happen in the summer (if we are lucky) or late fall (more likely).

Not to be a buzzkill, but baseless theorizing only to get your hopes crushed won't do any good. We need to keep the big picture in mind and be realistic. There's a good chance that all program draws will resume by the end of the year. There just isn't any information available to say anything more specific. Keep your spirits up and focus on what you can do in the meantime.
